When to use this
An athlete or parent asks about beetroot juice before a big race, and the answer needs to be measured instead of hype or a flat no.
- An endurance athlete saw beetroot products at a race expo or online and wants to try them.
- A family asks whether beetroot is worth buying before a championship.
- A supplement conversation needs redirecting back to breakfast, fluids, and pacing. The evidence for nitrate is adult-derived, so for minors the default is beets as food, not a product plan.
