Start small on easy runs, build the hourly dose on longer runs, and only race what the athlete has already practiced.
If the gut pushes back
- Nausea or urgency Drop the dose or simplify the product, then rebuild from the last level the athlete handled cleanly.
- Only works easy, not hard Keep practicing at race-like intensity instead of assuming the easy-run version will transfer.
